A Victorian Legacy
An easy walk from the La Vallette bathing pools to Castle Cornet, exploring the Victorian vision for leisure along the seafront.
Discover what the developers achieved, what remains, and how these influences continue to shape island life. For some, a trip down memory lane — for others, an entirely new perspective.

Explore Lihou Island’s unique geography, rich history and natural beauty, just a short walk from the mainland.
Please wear suitable footwear.
Access to Lihou Island is tidal — the causeway is only safe to cross at set times.
