Arrival Tips

Welcome

However you arrive — by cruise ship, plane or ferry — you will always be warmly welcomed.

It is my greatest pleasure to showcase our beautiful island. My aim is for you to leave already planning your return with family and friends.

Cruise ship in Guernsey waters

Arriving by Cruise Ship

As you approach St Peter Port, take a moment to admire the harbour — the castle, green hills and buildings rising like a jigsaw along the hillside.

St Peter Port is a tender port, which adds to the adventure.

If you’ve booked a tour — through your ship or privately — I will confirm the best meeting time. I take only one tour per ship, ensuring a relaxed and personal experience.

I’m happy to tailor your itinerary, whether you’d like heritage, hidden coves, Neolithic sites or simply the island’s most beautiful views.

Helpful Tips

Dress for changeable weather — sunscreen is often needed, even on cloudy days.

I will meet and return you to your arrival point unless requested otherwise.

I always monitor the last tender time.

Pre-book taxis where possible — availability can be limited.

A couple getting of a plane at Guernsey Airport

Arriving by Air

If you’re arriving via Guernsey Airport, I can meet you at the airport or your accommodation.

Guernsey has an excellent island-wide bus service, and I’m happy to meet you at a convenient location for a guided walk or driving tour.

Visit buses.gg to access the local bus tracker app.

The Sark boat leaving Guernsey harbour

Island Hopping – Herm & Sark

Why not make the most of your visit by exploring neighbouring islands?

I can help you plan visits to:

  • Herm

  • Sark

These excursions require some pre-planning but are truly worth the effort.

So many places to discover!

Before You Leave

I’m always happy to meet you at your holiday accommodation to discuss walking or driving tours across the island.

My wish is simple — that you leave Guernsey already wanting to return.
